We are in the area known as the Tarn et Garonne. This was originally a prosperous region known for its woollen and silk industry. Hills, plateaus, valleys and forests are within easy reach as are the Show more descriptionnumerous fortified (bastide) towns including, Puycelsi, Penne, Bruniquel and Vaour which keep watch over the surrounding, beautiful countryside. The two great rivers run across the region – La Garonne, flowing from Southeast to Northwest and Le Tarn ending its journey in Montauban. The rivers offer all water sports – sailing, canoeing, fishing. Hiking, golf, horse riding and climbing and cycling are also on offer.
