"Librairie" This is the first room opened in 2003, it is situated on the second floor, stones and wooden beams, its surface is about 35 square meters and possesses a vast bathroom, it is equipped Show more descriptionwith twin beds (90 centimeters wide) and of a sofa which can be opened for one or two extra persons, children preferably.
It is named this way, because its former use was a studyroom for Mrs Lemanissier, a French teacher dedicating a particular cult to Montaigne.
"GREG" It’s the second room prepared for the guests around December 2003, it is also on the second floor of the house facing the “Library”, a little less large, about 30 square meters, it is also composed by a large bathroom and you will appreciate its beautiful beams (real big tree branches).
Its name comes from the owners’ son (Gregory) who was the last member of the family to use it. He is now fully fledged, but still regrets his child’s room when he comes back home. (oh! Nostalgia!)
"Caen" We are now in the yard, it’s a garden level that we propose, a one floor room with twin beds, susceptible to be used by reduced mobility people and the inside is furnished for this purpose: a shower with a seat, heightened toilets, wide passages. A big mezzanine completes agreeably the whole room where there are as well two twin beds. Two couples who know each other can sleep in it quite comfortably.
The name “CAEN” was given to this room because the family story hasn’t really taken place there: they were garages!! We thus chose Caen because it’s a wonderful city which fascinates us, it’s our town, rich in old history with William the Conqueror, rich in art and architecture, in contemporary history since it became tormented during the landing and played a great part in the second world war history.
" Honfleur" it’s also on the garden level, a bit smaller than the Caen one but quite cosy and private; downstairs a double bed and the bathroom and on a mezzanine a small sitting room and two twin beds complete with charm this place and has become the favourite of our guests !!
It has been called “Honfleur” since we do like a lot this small town dedicated to painters, often in autumn or spring, beautiful seasons for colours, we pay a visit to this place to reload our batteries !!!
" Blue" It is the latest room,it is situated on the first floor of the main house, and is furnished with a double bed, with independent bedsprings, but common beddings, with electric control switches to adjust the height of the head and feet. This giving the opportunity of taking more advantage of the calm of the dwelling. An armchair can be converted into a bed (BZ)and therefore can welcome a third person. The originality of this room is its bathroom: The shower's cabin is placed under a window (velux),which gives it a very pleasant brightness
It's a mixture of blue colours, its name has no history,it is simply situated on the same floor as another room which has always been called the "pink room",therefore we have kept the same register!
